The National Women’s Political Caucus of North Carolina (NWPC-NC) is the state chapter of the National Women’s Political Caucus, a national, pro-choice, multi-partisan, grassroots membership organization dedicated to increasing the participation of women in the political process. Through advocacy, education, and leadership development, we work to identify, recruit, train, and support women seeking elected and appointed office while fostering greater civic engagement across North Carolina.
Our vision is to empower women to lead at every level—from neighborhood organizations and local government to state, national, and global leadership. Guided by our mission to create a more inclusive and equitable political landscape, we champion reproductive freedom, equal rights, and economic opportunity for women. As a member-driven organization, we are committed to equipping women with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Leadership Training
We provide educational workshops, leadership development programs, and candidate training designed to prepare women for elected, appointed, and civic leadership positions. Participants gain valuable knowledge, practical skills, and the confidence needed to navigate the political process and become effective leaders in their communities.
Candidate Endorsements
Our endorsement process recognizes qualified women candidates who share our commitment to reproductive freedom, equality, and inclusive leadership. Endorsed candidates receive public support, increased visibility, and access to a network of advocates dedicated to helping women succeed in public office.
Volunteer & Community Engagement
We offer meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to make a difference in advancing women’s leadership across North Carolina. Volunteers play an essential role by supporting events, voter outreach, advocacy initiatives, candidate campaigns, and community education efforts that strengthen civic participation.
